Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has been held at Adiala jail in Rawalpindi since 2023. His party says his personal doctors have not been given regular access to him. The reported blood pressure reading of 192 came after a meeting at the jail on November 2. Other accounts of that meeting described Khan as generally fit, and Zark News has not independently verified the reading. PTI is demanding his transfer to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad so that his personal doctors can examine him.
