Closing his get-out-the-vote rally in Traverse City, Michigan, on October 30, Pete Buttigieg ran through what he said Democratic organizing would deliver in 2026.
“We will flip the House in Lansing. We will build on the Senate majority in Lansing. We will upgrade our United States congressman. We will get Governor Jocelyn Benson and Senator Abdul El-Sayed elected, and we will be proud of what we did in 2026,” he said. “Let’s make this happen.”
Buttigieg was campaigning for Democratic House candidate Callie Barr in Michigan’s 1st District, in the state he now calls home.
