Trump: Iran’s Navy Is ‘At the Bottom of the Sea’

President Donald Trump told a rally crowd in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Friday night that U.S. strikes had taken away Iran’s nuclear threat, and he described Iran’s navy and air force as destroyed.

Trump said Iran had “a lovely Navy, 159 ships,” and added: “They’re all at the bottom of the sea.” He said Iran’s top-of-the-line airplanes were “scattered all over runways, all over Iran, in little, tiny pieces.” The figures were the president’s own, given at a campaign rally for Rep. Byron Donalds ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.
