Stephen Miller: “If it wasn’t for President Trump, the United States of America would not exist right now. This man saved America.”
Miller said it Friday night at the CPAC gathering at Mar-a-Lago, standing beside the president, on the day Trump named him White House chief of staff. He starts the job Monday, replacing Susie Wiles.
The remarks came at the CPAC Circle Retreat and Gala at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday, November 6, 2026, two days after the midterm elections reshaped Congress. Trump introduced Miller beside the pool, with CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp standing between them, and handed him the microphone. Miller, a longtime Trump adviser, used the moment to praise the president in the strongest terms, a day after Trump announced on Truth Social that Miller would become White House chief of staff on Monday, November 9, replacing Susie Wiles. The clip is a short excerpt from CPAC’s own recording of its event, published by CPAC on its official accounts. Zark News presents the statement as Miller’s own words, with the appointment context reported separately in the full story.
