WATCH: Official U.S. Coast Guard footage shows an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Astoria conducting a hoist at Hammond Marina in Astoria, Oregon, after a man was pinned beneath a rock on the jetty.
ASTORIA, Ore. — A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew hoisted an injured man from the Hammond Marina jetty on Sept. 26 after he became pinned beneath a rock, according to official Coast Guard video released through the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
The footage shows an MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria carrying out the hoist. DVIDS lists the video as recorded Sept. 26, posted Sept. 27 and running 1 minute, 13 seconds.
