Zark News is committed to correcting material factual errors promptly and transparently.
How corrections are handled
- Confirmed factual errors are corrected as soon as reasonably possible.
- A significant correction includes a clear correction or update note explaining what changed.
- A materially incorrect claim should not be silently rewritten in a way that hides the original error.
- Minor spelling, grammar, style, or formatting fixes that do not change the meaning may be made without a note.
- Developing stories may be updated as new verified information becomes available; meaningful updates should be identified where appropriate.
- If the central premise of a story is unsupported, the article may be withdrawn or replaced with an editor’s note explaining the action.
